Samburu Game Reserve; A rugged landscape home to rarely found species such as the Beisa Oryx, Grevy’s zebra, blue-necked Somali ostrich and reticulated giraffe.
Olpejeta Ranch; The only park with a Chimpanzee Sanctuary in Kenya, also home to rhinos & great views of Mt. Kenya.
Lake Nakuru National Park; The world’s greatest bird spectacles. Hundred of thousands of flamingo lining the shows of the lake. Other wildlife that the lake is famed for include the endangered black rhino.
Maasai Mara Game Reserve; Famous for the Great annual wildebeest migration, it is also the most popular game Reserve in Africa, home to the Big Five – lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant.
Day 1: Nairobi/Samburu
0700hrs pick at your Nairobi hotel and drive through the central highlands with beautiful views of Mt. Kenya, continue further north across the equator to Samburu National Reserve, arriving Samburu Lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon extended game drive. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge

Day 2: Samburu
Full day spent in Samburu with early morning and late afternoon game drives. Samburu is a beautiful and game abundant park, home to rarely found species such as the Beisa Oryx, Grevy’s zebra, blue-necked Somali ostrich and reticulated giraffe. All meals and overnight at Samburu Lodge

Day 3: Samburu/Olpejeta Ranch
Depart Samburu after breakfast and drive back to the lower slopes of Mount Kenya – arriving Sweetwaters Serena Camp in time for lunch. Afternoon extended game drive in the in the conservancy, including a visit to the Chimpanzee Sanctuary, the only one of its kind in Kenya. Dinner and overnight at the Tented Camp

Day 4: Olpejeta Ranch/Lake Nakuru
After breakfast drive down to the floor of the Rift Valley with a brief stop at Nyahururu Thomson Falls. Continue further through the scenic view of the Great Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving for lunch at Flamingo Hill Tented Camp. Afternoon extended game drive. Besides the flamingos that the lake is famous for, there are approx 400 other species of birds visiting the lake. Also, many species of game can be found in the park including the introduced Rothschild’s giraffe, black and white rhino, waterbuck, reedbuck, lion, buffalo, leopard, baboon and many species of plains game. Dinner and overnight at the Tented Camp

Day 5: Lake Nakuru/Maasai Mara
Depart Nakuru after breakfast and drive further along the floor of the Rift Valley to Maasai Mara Game Reserve arriving, Keekorok Lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon extended game drive. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge

Day 6: Maasai Mara
Full day spent exploring the Reserve. Game drives are flexible, with option of going out with picnic lunch boxes to spend entire day in the park, or you can choose to have early morning and late afternoon game drives. The spectacle of predator versus prey dominates Kenya’s greatest park. Golden-maned lion prides feast on the abundance of plain grazers. Solitary leopards haunt the acacia trees lining the Mara River, while cheetahs prowl the plains. Yet even when the migration is quiet, the Mara offers arguably the most scintillating game-viewing in Africa; great herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephant and giraffe, and thousands of elands, buffaloes, impalas and Grant’s gazelles. Day 7: Maasai Mara/Nairobi
Early morning pre-breakfast, game drive, returning for late breakfast. Depart Mara and drive back to Nairobi arriving approx 1400hrs. Transfer to your city hotel or airport for outbound flight home.
