Lake Manyara National Park; stretching for 50km along the base of the rusty-gold 600-metre high Rift Valley escarpment, the park is a scenic gem, with a setting extolled by Ernest Hemingway as “the loveliest I had seen in Africa”.
Serengeti National Park; Popular the Serengeti might be, but it remains so vast that you may be the only human audience when a pride of lions masterminds a siege, focused unswervingly on its next meal. Wildebeest migration from Maasai Mara to the North take place here most of the year.
Ngorongoro Crater; A true wonder of the natural world, it is one of the world’s greatest natural spectacles, its magical setting and abundant wildlife never fail to enthrall visitors.
Tarangire National Park; Known for big herds of elephants, herds up to 300 elephants scratch the dry river bed for underground streams. It’s the greatest concentration of wildlife outside the Serengeti ecosystem – a smorgasbord for predators – and the one place in Tanzania where dry-country antelope such as the stately fringe-eared oryx and peculiar long-necked gerenuk are regularly observed
Day 1: Arusha/Lake Manyara
Morning pick up at your Arusha Hotel and drive to Lake Manyara National Park, dotted with exotic trees such as the giant fig, baobab and mahogany and famous for lions that sprawl on trees (though rare these days). Lunch will be served at Kirurumu Tented Camp. Afternoon game drives. Dinner and overnight the Tented Camp.

Day 2: Manyara/Serengeti
After breakfast, depart Lake Manyara and drive to Serengeti National Park with optional stop over at the Olduva Gorge Museum. Lunch will be served at Serengeti Sopa Lodge. Afternoon game drive in the vast Park. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge

Day 3: Serengeti
Full day spent in Serengeti with morning and afternoon game drives in the rolling grasslands studded with wildlife for as far as the eye can see. As enduring as the game-viewing is the liberating sense of space that characterizes the Serengeti Plains, stretching across sunburnt savannah to a shimmering golden horizon at the end of the earth. Yet, after the rains, this golden expanse of grass is transformed into an endless green carpet flecked with wildflowers. All meals and overnight at Serengeti Sopa Lodge

Day 4: Serengeti/Ngorongoro
Morning game drive in Serengeti returning to the Lodge for lunch. Afternoon drive to Ngorongoro Conservation for dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast depart with picnic lunch boxes and drive to the Crater for a half day tour. Rest of the afternoon spent at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge

Day 6: Ngorongoro/Tarangire
After breakfast at the Lodge, drive to Tarangire National Park, arriving Tarangire Sopa Lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge
Day 7: Tarangire
Full day spent in Tarangire with morning and afternoon game drives. All meals and overnight at Tarangire Sopa Lodge

Day 8: Tarangire/Arusha
After breakfast depart Tarangire with a mid-morning game drive to Arusha. Arriving approx. 1300hrs for lunch. Afternoon transfer to your Arusha Hotel.
