The Orphanage supports orphaned baby elephants that have lost their mothers to poaching, death, injuries, or getting lost in the wild or other tragedies. Besides feeding,washing and walking the babies, Daphne and her dedicated staff of keepers provide emotional support to the orphans as they raise them to be released back into the wild when they are ready. It is worth a visit to the park to see the young elephants interacting with their keepers – playing, taking mud baths and being fed with milk. This is a rare sight to watch and a most memorable way to get up close to the babies and observe their playful habits, something which is not possible or even safe during your afari in the wild. The ideal visiting hours is between 1100hrs - 1200hrs when

baby elephants and rhinos are being fed.

Karen Blixen Museum & Giraffe Centre (LTS002) - 3hrs
A visit to Karen Blixen Museum, the former home of famous writer and novelist Karen von Blixen plus a visit to the Giraffe Center, an educational centre and part of African Fund for Endangered Wildlife, where you have a rare chance to feed the world's tallest animal; the Giraffe. The park has a small herd of Rothschild\'s Giraffe which is an endangered species.

Nairobi KWS Animal Orphanage + Safari Walk (LTS003) - 3hrs
Located 7 Kilometers from Nairobi city, Nairobi Animal Orphanage is a refuge andrehabilitation centre for wild animals found abandoned or injured throughout Kenya. Animals received at the facility, undergo a thorough medical examination, followed by treatment, before entering into an appropriate feeding and rehabilitation program. Continue to the adjacent Nairobi Safari Walk, gives visitor a clear picture of what to look forward to in Kenyan National Parks. Visitors walk along the raised boardwalk, observing from close proximity the wonderful variety of wildlife in each eco-system. The raised wood walkways provide souring views out over the shimmering stretches of savannah in the Nairobi National Park with observation points down onto waterholesand the wildlife that frequent them. Meandering through 27 acres of wilderness, Safari Walk offers a neatly encapsulated walking safari.

Nairobi City Tour + Museum & Snake Park (LTS004) - 3 hrs
The tour takes you through the Central Business District viewing the shopping center, City market, parliament buildings, Kenyatta International Conference Centre (KICC) and the nairobi_cityRailway station & The Nairobi Museum & snakepark situated a few minutes from Nairobi city center. The Museum houses extensive ornithological collections, animals and ethnographic displays of various tribes in Kenya. Within the national Museum grounds is a snake park where visitors can view life snakes such as Black Mamba and other reptiles.

L. Naivasha Day Trip {Hell's Gate/Boat ride+Crescent Island} (LTS005)
0800hrs depart Nairobi and drive to Hell's Gate National Park for hiking expedition, later hipposdrive to Lake Naivasha Country Club for lunch. Afternoon boat ride in Lake Naivasha and a walking safari in Crescent Island, one of the few places in the world where one can wander on foot amidst wild animals - there are no predators. 1600hrs drive back to Nairobi arriving approx. 1730hrs, Transfer to your city Hotel overnight.

The park is a unique ecosystem by being the only protected area in the world close to a capital city. The park is located only 7 km from Nairobi city centre.The savannah ecosystem comprise of different vegetation types. Open grass plains with scattered acacia bush are predominant. To the south are the Athi-Kapiti Plains and Kitengela migration corridor which are important wildlife dispersal areas during the rain season. Man-made dams within the park have added a further habitat, favourable to certain species of birds and other aquatic biome.Afterwards enjoy your picnic lunch box in designated area inside the park. Afternoon explore the park further.....
