How to Book
To book any of our safari package, simply fill-in our online booking form with the respective safari code plus any other information required and submit. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Please remember to indicate the travel date, number of days, budget and the preferred itinerary and the number of person travelling. We will respond to your request within 24hrs.
Note: Once you book any safari with us, we will secure your booking and send you an invoice detailing the payment details.
Payment Policy
Due to the pre-payment policy applied by our suppliers (hotels, Lodges & flights), we require a 30% deposit on booking confirmation and the balance (70%) payable 30 days before the commencement of the safari. For peace of mind, we do allow a 50% deposit on booking confirmation and balance payable in cash on arrival!
NB: We always pre-pay our suppliers to enhance efficiency and good working relationship......
We have 3 mode of payments:
a) By bank wire/electronic transfer to our bank account here in Nairobi Kenya. The funds take 2-3 working days to reach our accountour!
b) PayPal - This mode attracts a 4.8% receiving fee charge on the amount payable. The funds are received instantly!
c) Credit Card - This mode also attracts a 4.5% bank surcharge on the amount payble. Due to fraud & related issues, we only charge the physical card in the presence of the actual card holder!
Responsibility
Travel carries certain risks and Lion Trails Safaris Ltd acts only as an agent of clients in the matter related to hotels, sightseeing, restaurants, all transportation from the services included in the tour. We purchase the services from suppliers and other independent contractors without warranties and representations from them. Thus such services are subjected to its control. Therefore you are advised to take adequate insurance cover as we (Lion Trails Safaris Ltd) and its agencies accept no responsibility for any personal illness, injury, delays loss or damages from any cause whatsoever.
Alterations
We reserve the right to alter arrangements of the route or to cancel the operation of a scheduled safari should conditions necessitate.
We also reserve the right to decline to accept or retain any person as a member of any safari at any time. In which event an equitable amount will be refunded.
Cancellation Policy
In the event that a safari is cancelled, the following cancellation penalties apply:
- 45 to 60 days - full refund less US$ 150 administration fees
- 30 to 45 days - 35% of the Safari price
- 10 to 30 days - 50% of the Safari price
- Under 10 days and no show up - NO REFUND
- Incase of reduced length of stay - NO REFUND
Refunds and claims
Refunds are not made for any missed services, except for verifiable extenuating circumstances. For verifiable claims to be considered, they must be received in writing within 30 days of the termination of the program and be accompanied by supporting documentation and/or a statement from the Operating Company verifying the claim. Any adjustment considered will be based on the actual price of the services involved and not on a per diem basis. Adjustments will not be made for unused sightseeing trips or meals. Lion Trails Safari Ltd will not accept any liability for any claims that are not received within 30 days of the termination of your travel program. All claims for days missed while traveling should be made in writing within 30 days of the termination of the program.
